Carousel Winery, located in southern Indiana near Mitchell on Highway 37, is known for its unusual wines. One of these is American Pinotage. The grape is originally from South Africa and yields a wine that starts off sweet, then changes to a dramatically dry finish. It is a dinner wine and great with steak.
